"Introduction to Applied Optics" course at Collin College

A new Continuing Education course is available at Collin College, thanks to the efforts of Janeil Lorin (janeil.lorin@archeroptx.com), Karen Musa  (kmusa@collin.edu), and many others. It is hoped that this will fill a gap in training related to optics in this North Texas region.

The flyer for the course is here:

The North Texas area also has multiple academic institutions, including:

Southern Methodist University (SMU)
Texas Christian University (TCU)
University of North Texas (UNT)
University of Texas at Arlington (UTA)
University of Texas at Dallas (UTD)
University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSWMC)

If you belong to an academic institution and are interested in contributing to Optical Society meetings, or to the content of this webpage, please send us a message via the Contact Us page or email us at info@osntx.org. Institutions may also have Student Chapters of the OSA, with membership usually limited to students at the institution.

The Optical Society of North Texas is not a student organization, but students are welcome, and important participants in the broad array of activities that involve optics throughout the region. These are links to some student organizations. Please send any additional links that should be added.
